Jennifer Simpson, ASW
(CA ASW 69660)

I am a registered associate clinical social worker, earning hours towards my license. I am an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, and I graduated from the USC School of Social Work in 2015. I have served agencies in San Diego including Father Joe’s Villages, YMCA Youth and Family Services and San Diego Youth Services. Most recently, I have provided therapy to teen victims of sex trafficking. I am EMDR-trained and look forward to helping clients move past their traumas and begin a new lease on life. I am very passionate about EMDR and strongly believe in it’s ability to help clients move forward and gain peace in their lives. EMDR is a unique therapy that allows clients to tap into their brain’s natural ability to process information, in order to reprocess and desensitize troubling memories. It is an evidence based, front line treatment for PTSD and trauma, and it’s also effective in the treatment of a number of different disorders.I treat adults and teens struggling with eating disorders, single issue or complex trauma, PTSD, and anxiety disorders. I offer appointments on evenings and some weekends. I hope you will allow me to partner with you on your therapeutic journey.
